Social Services and Community Education

About Social Services and Community Education

Our Social Services program provides individual case management, advocacy, and referrals for participants who are enrolled in other Mercy Center programs. A licensed social worker provides participants with support in navigating systems and solving problems in areas such as housing, taxes, public benefits, domestic violence, and immigration.

Our Community Education Program offers workshops (in English and Spanish) on topics identified by staff as relevant to our participants.

FUNDERS

Thanks to our supporters!

We are very grateful for the generosity of the individuals, groups, businesses, foundations and friends that partner with us in the fight against childhood hunger. Together, we’re making a difference in the lives of the many food-insecure children throughout New York.
