Social Services and Community Education

About Social Services and Community Education

Our Social Services program provides individual case management, advocacy, and referrals for participants who are enrolled in other Mercy Center programs. A licensed social worker provides participants with support in navigating systems and solving problems in areas such as housing, taxes, public benefits, domestic violence, and immigration.

Our Community Education Program offers workshops (in English and Spanish) on topics identified by staff as relevant to our participants.

FUNDERS

Thanks to our supporters!

We are very grateful for the generosity of the individuals, groups, businesses, foundations, and friends that partner with us to provide education, family, civic, social, and economic programs to the residents of the Mott Haven section of the South Bronx. Together, we’re making a difference in the lives of the women, men and families that reside in our community.
