About Personal Development

Our Personal Development program offers a variety of adult activities; which are led by both staff and volunteers, that offer opportunities for personal growth and enrichment, improved health, and stress reduction. Current activities including: capacitor (wellness and stress reduction techniques) and a women’s movie discussion group (monthly movie, discussion and pot-luck dinner).

Our Community Building Activities are designed to create an environment that embodies the Mercy charism and offers a safe, welcoming, and supportive community for our participants. Activities include:

  • Day of the Dead Art Workshop
  • Thanksgiving Prayer & Dessert
  • Thanksgiving Food Pantry
  • Our Lady of Guadalupe Celebration
  • Community Holiday Celebration & Gift Distribution
  • Ash Wednesday Service
